Save the dates
- 6 months prior
- 8-12 for busy wedding season or holiday weekends
- 12+ months for destination weddings
Ask printer for them to be done at least 2 weeks prior to give yourself time to address envelopes
Wedding invitations
- 8 weeks prior to the wedding
Ask for response cards back 3 weeks prior (unless your caterer/ reception location needs them earlier)
If you can’t send out them out at 8 weeks, 6 weeks is the minimum in which case you can ask for responses 2 weeks prior.
Ask your invitation company for everything at least 3 weeks prior to sending them out for time to stamp response envelopes and address invitation envelopes.
